Error code 101

Community Beginner ,
May 05, 2024 May 05, 2024

I just got the new MacBook Pro 14 and transferred all my stuff from my old MacBook Pro 13 (2017) and It will not install any Adobe apps. With Adobe Illustrator it says installation failed and when I click on the retry button it does the same thing, over and over again. It says error code 101. There are no solutions on adobes support website except click "retry" and download again. This is not helpful at all and I am getting very frustrated.

Did you migrate any of the software from the previous computer? Some users have reported issues when using Apple's migration tools in which case you may want to try the CC Cleaner tool before installing ( https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html ).

I used the Adobe cleaner tool, wiped all Adobe off my laptop but now I am having another issue. I was able to download apps from Adobe cloud but now no app will open. They are downloaded and I click to open and it just sits on the Adobe illustrator main page and never opens. I have tried everything I know, gone into IT at my college and no one can help me. I force quit the app and it gives me a report but I don't have the knowledge to identify the problem. Please someone help!
