Error Code 128 while downloading update

So, simply, my adobe creative cloud app has said "we could not find your sync files" so im like "thats ok" and now i cant download anything because it keeps asking me to download an update, but the download always shows error code 128 ( but no matter how many times i retry it, it still just cancels and goes on infinitely help me p.s im an editor which really bums me out because my schedule is ruined

Salad Head, are you receiving Error Code 128 while updating the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application?  If so which operating system are you updating the Creative Cloud desktop app on?

I would recommend utilizing the steps listed in "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app to reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app.
