Error code 133 except the drive im installing on has like 300gb space left please help

i am so angry. the install for photoshop which i am doing always fails at about 10%. My drive has more than enough space and the error is incredibly frustrating and confusing. PLEAE HELP!!!

i'm using a 1tb drive (D:) and it has about 300gb space free. i am using a desktop client (the creative cloud one).

Mason, sorry you cannot install Photoshop due to insufficient disk space. Thanks for updating this public forum discussion with more details, as suggested by Mylenium.

 

Is the D: drive the same drive/partition that contains Windows? The Creative Cloud desktop app needs sufficient disk space on the drive containing the operating system to complete the download and install process. You can follow the steps in https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/change-install-location.html to set a secondary drive as the install location, but there will still need to be enough disk space on the primary drive.

It might be useful if you provided the actual log, including the pre-install test stuff from the beginning. Those two lines don't really tell us much.

There could be some hidden or virtual memory files taking up space, and you need to delete the files on the virtual partition. It is also possible that you have a disk format limitation.
