I downloaded Creative Cloud as usual and it worked fine. Some problems occurred, and I needed to reinstall it. So I uninstall it completely and I run the setup. Error code 50 happens, which the solution is to uninstall Creative Cloud and reinstall it, BUT I'M GETTING IT IN THE INSTALLER! Please help, I can't make videos on my channel now because of this!

Two day install waste too much time, only get Error Code: 50.

The solution is here: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

I had to run the tool that uninstalls the desktop app. Weird, I know. (I'm on Windows 10.) But Using the tool to uninstall Creative Cloud actually worked.

Follow the steps carefully. Download the uninstaller, uninstall, then download and run the cleaner, check the log like it says (The log is a document with almost nothing in it, but Adobe warns it could have errors), and then you're free to reinstall Creative Cloud.

Good luck!

I'm having the identical issue tonight. Error Code: 50 on Adobe CC install.

I had to uninstall CC because Adobe XD wouldn't open. Adobe CC wouldn't even uninstall from my PC, I had to download the Adobe Application Manager Uninstaller first, and then uninstall CC. Now I can't get it back because of Error Code: 50.

I had the same issue with an Adobe installation on a Windows 10 machine. I tried the uninstaller and cleaner tool, the reinstallation would fail with the error code 50. Ultimately, I repeated the above process and deleted the Adobe folders in C:\Program files and C:\Program Files (x86) and rebooted. Afterwards the reinstallation worked normally.

for others, the fix is here https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html
