Error Code: P1 - Illustrator CC failed installation

I am trying to install Illustrator CC and i am receiving the following message:

Sorry, installation failed. Quit the installer then try again. It might also help to reboot your computer. (Error Code: P1).

I have rebooted multiple times, run the install as admin as well with the same result every time. The adobe ID im using is a free account, i have also tried with a new free trial account and the same result still.

Any recommendations on how to resolve this?

Hi Ro,

Just to confirm, have you tried the steps given under 'Solution 2' from the document shared by Ged?

If not then please give it a try "Resolve installation failure | Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application" and share the results.

If you have already tried those steps and you still get the 'Error P1' while trying to install the CC apps, then please follow the steps given in the following forum thread to manually uninstall CC desktop app: Creative cloud failing for a year now - only options are quit or repair. Both fail.

After this use the direct download links to download and install the CC desktop app again: Download Creative Cloud desktop app.

Thanks for the link, i have attempted what i can from the link but its still the same error that's appearing.
