Hi, in an effort to identify what was causing a pop-up, I accidentally deleted some essential adobe files from the library and emptied the thrash.
Now I can't open the creative cloud app at the top menu bar on my macbook as it say "Error initialising Creative Cloud Desktop App".

I am also unable to download creative cloud from the website as it says I have already downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud.

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

-for non-Cloud programs you need to DE-activate before uninstalling

-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html (and uninstall)

-using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

-Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

Nobody really answered the question: error initializing creative cloud desktop app

Go to Cleaner in Adobe Creative Cloud folder in Applications. Run Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.

It will ask you if you really want to Uninstall, but offers Repair. Repair fixes this problem. No need to download anything.

Hey Bani!

Thank you! I had to do solution 3 as you advised but ALSO solution 4 which was to create a new user account and install adobe. Then delete the old user account.
