Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to install Illustrator CC (2015) via the creative cloud app but it keeps bombing out at more than midway through.

It gives me the following error message.

Download Error

Server not responding. Check your internet and firewall settings, and then press Retry.

When I click on the More Information button I get the following.

Exit Code: 119

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

I'm trying to install on a Windows 7 64bit machine with 16GB RAM and 361 GB of disk space.

I installed Photoshop CC (2015) before this issue and Lightroom CC (2015) after this issue so it doesn't seem like an internet/firewall issue on my end. I'm installing InDesign as I type.

I've looked around via Google but I haven't been able to find any solution that seems to do the trick. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and got the same error pretty much. Each time it references the Cool Extras folder and Legal folder. The Scripting folder has been mentioned on some attempts but not others.

I looked at running the Adobe Creative Cloud Clean Up Tool but only Photoshop, Lightroom and the creative cloud up show up under individual programs, Illustrator is not listed.

Any help or ideas would be really appreciated as I'm stumped as to what to do next. Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Matt

I googled the error and it said it was a bad registry error. So I downloaded CCleaner and ran it a few times to clear all the registries and BOOM! Installed and working!.

Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2015\.

Delete or rename Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 folder.

Make sure it is not listed under Control Panel> Programs and Features.

Try installing using Direct installer file :

Still same ? let us know .
