error message

I get a error message when I try to install Lightroom4 on my Imac. Click on pkg. and the message reads " Operation could not be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error-1)"

I've tried to download it again but get the same message.

running 10.5.8  , duo core 3.06 ghz. 4 gb ram

Your mac doesn't meet the minimum system requirement for the installation of the lIghtroom 4.

suggestion would be upgrade the mac
