Any solutions for error p204 for desktop? I have alr uninstall and clean the previous adobe file with adobe cleaner. Please help!
1 Correct answer
I have had the same issue for some months now, but finally cracked it. I set Chrome to be my default browser (Windows 10 seems to default to Microsoft Edge) and uninstalled a program call Mal Bytesize defender which came pre packeaged with my Dell. I uninstalled all Adobe programs I'd previously downloaded, then downloaded the Creative Cloud Desktop App, and downloaded Photoshop CC and Lightroom through this App. Doesn't seem to be any further issues.

Could someone give me step by step instructions on loading this onto Windows 10 and Surface book. £3000 equipment and cant load a simple program. Madness. I've turned off all my security. Closed all open programmes and still get P204 or P81.
I don't know what the problem is.

Jeff I've tried all the steps you recommend, and have also used the Adobe Cleaner app, but I can't shake the p204 error. I'm trying to download Photoshop to a Dell PC running Windows 10. And please, what does a p204 error mean/indicate? Apparently many other people have the same problem, and it isn't going away. I've been trying to solve this for 2 weeks. What can I do?

I have looked over this thread and tried everything that was suggested. The Creative Cloud won't even download, keeps giving me errors as well.
Like Donna did above, I turned off every security measure, closed every program, anything that could be possibly preventing it from downloading. It seems the P204 is a missing document or file of some sort...and the troubleshooting page gives no details on what that file can be.
This is extremely frustrating. I currently have to use two computers. I, also, don't fully understand what the problem is. I gave up.

I had the same problem while trying to install the trial version for Adobe Illustrator CC but i solved it. I uninstalled my computer's anti-virus software. Its name was Bytefence Anti-Malware. It was definitely causing some kind of interference during the installation process because Illustrator downloaded without any problem afterwards. I will suggest you try to uninstall your ani-virus program too because it worked for me.
Hope I helped
