Error When Launching Adobe Products

New Here ,
Mar 10, 2020 Mar 10, 2020

When I go to launch any adobe related product, I get an error message stating the following:

- "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCPI140.dll was not found. Reinstalling this program may fix this problem."

- "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling this program may fix this problem."

I called adobe 5 times, no answer. Waited on hold for 4 hours.

What can I do?

That is a Windows problem, so you can go to the Search bar at the top of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx to find and re-install the C runtime

This sounds like you're missing the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019" package:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Could you please try installing it and see if the errors persist?

Under "Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019", there should be three entries - use the one that fits your OS:

You need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC from the link supplied in the marked as answer reply to this thread, the 32bit version download and install of the data link library will be the most likely one that you will need, even if you are using a 64bit system, however, if the app that needs the file to run was developed for a 64bit OS only then you will need the 64bit version. You can install both versions on a 64bit system as a 64bit system will run both 32bit and 64bit apps and/or programs.

Here is the link again, for your convenience.
