Need to re-download photoshop because some functions randomly stopped working and the only solution is to remove and re-install... Tried opening up creative cloud and can't even get in because the update won't install.
Error code 87 - Another installer is already running. Apparently this is a common issue on windows 11 and I have yet to find a solution that works. This is pretty critical because I am a full time photographer and graphic designer, so if I can't find a solution quickly I'm going to have a problem. Apparently this has been an issue on windows for a wild and it's bewildering that adobe still has yet to fix this problem. Someone please help.
Thanks

Yep. Closed windows installer, closed all adobe processes multiple times over etc. Restarted multiple times to no avail. Had the same issue when initially installing on my new PC guess it was all up to chance I was able to even install it in the first place so I guess I'll leave it up to chance and hope that it updates so I can redownload the apps to fix issues.

do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:
uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)
if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>
if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.
