Amrn43298154 is the error exactly the same or does it now indicate another font is causing a conflict?  Do you use any type of Font management utilities?

I thought this would be more annoying to fix then it ended up being.

Each time I ran the install and it failed, I reviewed error text file (which was never very big), and each time a single font was indicated as the issue: "WARN: Unable to copy file from C:\adobeTemp\ETR12D1.tmp\2\P1\AdobeVersioned\FontsFolder\. I was worried this would take forever and even after that, another issue would arise. But, I started down the path.

After each failed install, I would go into the fonts folder, copy the mentioned font to a backup folder (in case it wasn't replaced), and then using Fonts in Control Panel, remove the offending font. I had to do this "only" four times. After that, Premiere Pro installed. And it put back the fonts I had removed.

For people still encountering issues after attempting to fix "[Drive]:/adobetemp", running Creative Cloud as an administrator, and restarting their computer, I found a more blunt method to fix my own issues when trying to install the files:

A

1) Get Wise Force Deleter: http://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-force-deleter.html !
2) Install, run, and click the "Add File" button at the bottom

3) Navigate to your windows fonts folder at [Drive]:/windows/font
4) Inside the font folder, add all files that start with the following:

Adobe

KozGo

KozMin

LetterGothic

Minion

Myriad

ACaslon

AGaramond

Birch

Blackoak

Brush

Chaparral

Charle

Hobo

Lithos

Nueva

OCRA

Orator

Poplar

Tekton

5) After adding all fonts starting with those, hit the "Unlock and Delete" button
6) If this does not fix the problem, there should be a link for more info when the error occurs and another link for more info on the dialog that pops up. Hit that as well. (I apologize, I don't remember the exact names, but it should be relatively easy to spot)
7) It should open a text file in your browser that displays the in-depth error. If it is still the same error, it should reference a font file somewhere on the page. Repeat the above process to remove that font as well.
8) Keep running the install and deleting fonts until it completes successfully (or, if unlucky, a different error pops up. At that point I can't help)

It's not exactly finesse, but it does free up the problem fonts. In my case, the install choked on the "Myriad" font files, presumably because my computer thought the fonts were in use already and wouldn't allow them to be overwritten. At this point it also failed to release the fonts it installed, which I assume is why I had to delete the above files. It should be noted that this was not a traditional folder permissions problem, as I had to use a third-party application to remove the fonts because my system thought they were in use and wouldn't allow them to be modified and the affected files were, in most cases, fonts that Creative Cloud was just then trying to install. However, I'm uncertain if this was the result of improper software removal on my part... it wouldn't be the first time. Also might have helped to restart, however I was kind of almost completely through the working through the solution by the time that hit me. Hind-sight's 20/20, I suppose. Also not sure if the CC cleaner program would have helped since I didn't really know which option would remove the fonts without uninstalling everything.

Hopefully, this will help people encountering this problem as well.

Properties in the folder attributes in the footer, clear the "read-only (folder files)" and click apply.

a window appears, select only the option "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files"

will ask administrator permição click "continue"

an error message will appear after clicking "ignore all" and wait for the procedure

Now try installing again

After reading the log provided above, it seems that this issue is related to particular font or permissions in that folder.

If you have already corrected the permissions on Adobe Temp folder then please try removing the font mentioned in the log and retry the installation.

If you have not corrected the permissions then kinldy see steps mentioned here: Re: Adobe Illustrator Not Updating. ERROR CODE: 146 .

Hi Marygetz,

According the log you have posted, it seems some other application is running in the background and its blocking the install, i would recommend you restart your machine and try again.
