FEATURE REQUEST: Remove compass rose when using rotate view tool

Remove compass rose when using rotate view tool

I can see the canvas rotate and reset the rotation when I hit the esc button.

I no longer need that compass as it is covering a huge part of the screen when rotating! not happy
