Hello dear Forum,

since English is not my native language and I am posting my first post in this forum today, forgive me for any mistakes.

As you can see in the title I am a complete beginner in the field of Creative Cloud.

In my job I have been in contact with Photoshop lately and have done simple tasks. It was mainly about changing formats or releasing simple objects from photos. The work steps were explained to me by a colleague and implemented by me.

During these quite simple tasks I enjoyed working with Photoshop.

I would now like to deal more with the topic in my spare time. My question to you: Which package of the Adobe Creative Cloud should I start with? So far I have only worked with Photoshop but as I found out there are many more programs.

Which program should I start with? Photoshop or Illustrator or something completely different?

I want to teach myself everything with the help of tutorials and literature and don't know which program to start with. I realize that the programs have different purposes, but you have to start with something.

I would be very happy about answers with reasons.

Greetings,

BigBratan

BigBratan,

the question to ask should not be which program should I start with?, but rather what do I have to do? what do I have to produce?

from there the answer should be easier, or at least more appropriate.

the creative cloud contains a wide range of tools to produce content from paper printing, to digital printing, but also vector animation, production and publication of materials for the web, not to mention video, and the application of visual effects... all this covers a wide range of applications....

let us know

have a pleasant day

Hi Birnou,

thank you very much for your answer.

In the end I am interested in editing photos, creating my own graphics like logos etc. and possibly editing videos.

I think to start, the Adobe tutorials are a good introduction. Do I see that right?

Otherwise I would be happy about recommendations for beginners.

Greetings
