Hi,

Please try the below steps:

1- Clear %temp% folder - go to > run > type - %temp% > click ok > delete all files and folders here

**If it gives an error deleting any file skip that file.

2- Reboot the machine and try the installation again

Also see, Errors "Exit Code: 6," "Exit Code: 7" | CC, CS6, CS5.5

Let us know if this helps.

Bani

Hi. I've deleted the temp folder multiple times already and uninstalled and reinstalled creative cloud and have also tried changing the default download location but to no avail.

Hmm Error 32 while deleting the folder from Temp folder. that means  the folder is still in use and cannot be deleted.

Try below steps :

1) Launch Task Manager and end all Adobe related processes , also look for Window Installer or setup processes and end it.

Make sure no setup related processes are running.

If it is okay , disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily.

2) Run Cleaner tool and check if Illustrator core is listed under ?? if present remove it.

http://download.macromedia.com/SupportTools/Cleaner/win/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe

3) Navigate to C: > Program Files > Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Illustrator folder.

Then again Clear Temp folder for confirmation purpose and try to install Illustrator app again .

Still same??

let us know .

I had this issue with Photoshop 2017.1 (18.1). All other apps loaded great; the fault occured on an update. I had a pretty unproductive chat with Adobe support. This was on a Windows 10 machine. The Adobe errors led me to a font file, AdobeClean-Bold.otf that was in use by another process, even with all Adobe processes shut down. Using a file unlocker I determined a Windows process kept grabbing the file. I used the unlocker to rename all of the AdobeClean files (in two different folders) and, voilá, the app installed. The original fail code was 184.
Happy designing!
