Have de-activated my CS6 design and web premium on old mac but when i try to activate on new mac it states the serial number is wrong... any ideas?

Have de-activated my CS6 design and web premium on old mac but when i try to activate on new mac it states the serial number is wrong... any ideas? I haven't deleted my old copy from my previous mac yet. How do I get the transfered copy to activate.

Yes, you should uninstall and reinstall.  Try using the Cleaner Tool for the uninstall to help make sure the stage is set for a proper installation (I have not used this myself so I cannot say much else about it).

If you transdferred the software from one machine to another that could be the source of the problem.  Transferring doesn't work in most cases.  You need to install using installation files.  You can download via:

Many thanks, Is it best to uninstall the CS suite and then download again?
