My problem: Adobe is billing me for an incorrect subscription. The chat is useless, so that's why I'm trying to get through the forum. Can someone help me?
I am a university student. Through my university I bought an Adobe license for 130 euros per year. This is a special Education ICT store called Surfspot. It went well in my first year. I bought the Adobe product through Surfspot, paid them, and then they linked a license to my email address. After this I could use the Adobe package without any problems.
This license must be renewed each year. I did this again for the second year. Unfortunately, things have not gone well since then. Adobe at one point asked to enter payment information. I did that as a precaution. Since then, Adobe has been deducting costs for a normal subscription, while I have a license from my university (which I have already paid for). So I currently pay twice, for the license and a normal subscription per month...
I have contacted Adobe about this several times via chat, but this is worthless. I have been in contact with them 6 times now. The 4th time it seemed to have worked: they would stop the monthly charges and see if they could link the license.
Unfortunately this did not work. I have saved all these conversations. When I copy paste this into a new chat conversation, they don't seem to read it at all and I have to explain everything again. Another example: 'I understand, Vera I ma cancelling the subscription for you and you will not be charged for this again. -> well, this didn't happen (is this some sort of revenue model?). I've also had one time that I was linked to an agent, but then it didn't happen. It takes a long time for them to respond, and I have already spent 300 euros on extra costs for the standard subscription (while the license through my university only cost me 130 euros).
Who can help me please? It's driving me crazy. Calling is not convenient because I live in the Netherlands (because of time). So the chat is worthless. I can't find an email address to tell my story.
What can I do?
Kind regards, Vera
