Help I can't re-install my Premiere Pro CS3...

Hey guys can anybody help me to re-install Premiere CS3 on my PC?

I'm running Windows7 64 bit.

My C drive was a small SSD and I quickly ran out of room and the PC was very sluggish. I decided to dedicate C drive to just Windows and put Premiere CS3 onto my D drive (which is a much bigger drive).

I uninstalled the program via the Windows control panel (uninstall/restore)

I tried installing onto my D drive, the installer went all the way to the end and then it said it had three errors and didn't install.

I then tried re-installing it back onto my C drive and the same three errors came up and wouldn't install.

What have I done wrong and how can I fix it?

I've tried using the CS3 cleaner tool but that didn't help me 😞

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Mark MadMAz

    Correct answer kglad

Thank you Kglad but my computer still sat there and did nothing :-(

I also tried setting the compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2 and still no difference.

The installation worked a couple of days ago and now it doesn't while other programs are installing just fine.

I'm just a semi-old man trying to edit a couple of my grandson's videos and it's turning out to be a lot harder than I thought.

Any more help would be greatly appreciated

    Regards Mark.

suspend any antivirus/antimalware programs and retry right clicking the desktop setup exe and clicking 'run as administrator'.

if that fails, Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CS5, CS5.5, CS6

uninstall, clean per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and reinstall.

thank you kglad but that didn't help the problem. I'm about to start pulling my hair out here.

I even tried downloading the CS3 installer just in case there was something wrong with my disc but it is giving me the same error messages!

    What else can I try?

    Thanks from Mark

thanks kglad but it's all becoming a little too difficult for me. I give up, I've thrown the disc away and will try some other type of software. Thanks for trying to help me I really do appreciate it.
