Help with installation error 1335 -- Acrobat XI Pro

This weekend I've attempted to install a purchased copy of Acrobat XI Pro to a machine running Windows XP SP3. Each time I received the error "error 1335 Data1.cab file is corrupt...". This happened 3 times, including with the anti-virus and firewall software turned off. This morning however, the same disk installed on a machine running Windows 7. Is there any way to work around this error on the XP machine (we've purchased additional licenses from Univ. of Oklahoma IT Store)?

Thanks Ned. Unfortunately, I tried all of these between Saturday and Sunday on that machine (well, at least the solutions that pertain to Windows XP). I wondered if it was possible, since I have the purchased serial # for Acrobat XI Pro, if there would be something that I could download from the adobe.com site and then verify with my serial number. Or, am I just stuck? Thanks again.

Have you tried downloading the Trial version from the Adobe website?

If it installs successfully (as it should) you can then launch it and enter your serial number to make it a full version.
