Make sure OS is up to date with all patches and security updates.

If you are using Windows machine , make sure to update all drivers including BIOS /Firmware.

Also run SFC Scan. and check for any disk errors.

If Mac, run First Aid for Mac HD from Disk Utiliity. 

 

For further troubleshooting, you can share System speccs
