How can I update Adobe InDesign CS5? I have received a file and I can't open it because I have not the new plugins.

if you need to upgrade to cs5.5, cs6 or cc, you'll need to purchase that, http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide.html

if you want to update to the latest cs5 version, http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
