Are you trying to install Photoshop Elements from your DVD? Can you provide me with details of your OS? Ensure that you are using the correct DVD for install.

Hi,

If you purchased Photoshop Elements 10 as a DVD package, you should have received 3 discs and you should start installation from Disc 1.

Can you navigate to the disc drive via "My Computer" and check if you are able to view any content?

I tried that and it said that there was no content. The computer wanted me to use the disk as a writable disk or USB.

Hi,

You can also download the trial version of Photoshop Elements 10 from www.adobe.com.

You can then use the serial number you received with the Photoshop elements disc to convert the trial to a full version.

Is your disc drive able to read any other DVD?

I recommend that you contact support if you you tried using Disc 1 and the computer still cant read the content in order to get a replacement disc : Contact Adobe Support
