How do I re-download after effects version 23, I accidentally uninstalled it.

So the problem is that After Effects version 25 is incompatible (processor requirement), and I accidentally deleted version 23 and can't use After Effects products at all. Is there a solution to use the previous version?

Oh sorry, I use a different account, the one I provided the screenshots is a university account.

Hi there,

I have the same issue. My computer can only go up to AE2022 as it is on Catalina, and I cannot update it past Catalina. I just deleted After Effects since there was an issue with my RAM. I want to redownload After Effects, but I can't, just like the screenshots the individual sent. I have an individual account. Please help ASAP!!!

Did you check the box to Show Older Versions in your CC Desktop App?

If that box is not available, contact your school's IT dept. They may need to create a package for you.

Hi, I followed your guide and it seems I need to install the current version of After Effects to downgrade it to version 23, but the problem is I cannot download it. Even on the Preferences > App tab it doesn't list After Effects

You are right, Dees, the ability to install older versions is limited to people with a paid membership.

I don't see an active membership under the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum. If you have an active Creative Cloud membership under another account, then make sure to sign in with that account.

If your membership is provided by an organization, then please contact the organization's Creative Cloud plan administrator for additional help. ^JW
