How do I uninstall my CS6 software from a computer that no longer works?

My old imac recently died along with all the software on it. I bought a new imac and was able to reinstall most of my old software from Time Machine. Unfortunately I was not able to do this with CS6.

When I tried to use InDesign it asked me if I wanted to use the trial version or buy a version. As I already own the software I opted for the trial version until I could sort it out. My copy of CS6 is on disc and I was able to load it on the the old computer as it had a DVD player, however the new computer does not. Also I have found that I need to uninstall my copy of CS6 from the old computer before I can reinstall it onto the new one however the old one is dead and it no longer starts up. The license I have for CS6 is for two computers however I am using the second login on another terminal. Is there a way I can uninstall the software from a dead computer and reinstall it on the new one without the use of a DVD drive???

Please help as my trial version will expire soon!!

    Hi,

as you mentioned that you do not have access to the old computer on which Adobe product was installed. In this case you would need to contact Adobe customer support for the deactivation Contact Customer Care

You can also download the CS6 product from following link Download Creative Suite 6 applications and activate using the serial key you have.

If you do not have serial key , you can get it from your Adobe account. Please follow the steps mentioned on the link https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-your-serial-number.html

Please let us know if above information is helpful to you.

    Hi caboobie,

There is no way that we can remove the application from a dead computer. You can go ahead and download CS6 from the link mentioned below. Make sure you login on Adobe.com and then try to download . Based on the application or suite you can try to download the .dmg file and once it is done. Try to open it and it will take you to the installation screen and will ask you if you want to install it as a trial or you have a serial number. Select serial number and punch the number and proceed with the installation.

    Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Make sure you remove the CS6 applications and do a fresh install.
