How storage is being used is unclear

Using Lightroom I can see that my cloud space is nearly used up (and that everything is synced and backed-up) but when I go to CC on the web, I have nothing.

I have tried,  without avail, to find a solution to this - I reckon it's probably something stupid I've done or not done.

Please enlighten me someone!

Hi Al,

I suspect the storage being used is related to your Lightroom online content. LR content counts against your overall storage quota but is not shown on the Adobe Creative Cloud  page other than linking to the Lightroom page.

There should be a link to the Lightroom content and overall storage in the bottom left.

If you sign in here it will show your LR online content Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom

Currently, Adobe doesn't have a way to see a breakdown of how much storage is being used in the different areas, the Your Work section on assets.adobe.com, Lightroom Online, and Document Cloud. I know this is a feature on our developer's backlog. Please add your feedback here: https://creativecloudassets.uservoice.com/forums/905290-request-features/suggestions/33954679-it-sho...

Hope that helps,

- Dave

If you’re using Lightroom CC and not Lightroom Classic CC your storage will fill-up in zero time, if you have only the Protographer’s plan.

You should only use Lightroom Classic CC and synching collections. That will upload good resolution compressed pictures to the cloud that can be edited with mobile devices. It should take some time to fill your 20Gb with that system and the pictures are good enough to show clients on the iPad.
