How to actually get in contact with Adobe Customer Service? Chat is always closed.

Hi. I have a permanent, legal licence for CS6, provided through my university before Adobe CC became the new model. Around Christmas 2017 my Adobe programs on my computer suddenly deactivated and told me I needed to buy a licence. Since I am graduated, my school directed me to contact Adobe to resolve this issue. However, I am finding it very difficult to navigate the Adobe "Customer Service". The only option for Account Issues seems to be the Chat window, and every time I check the website, it says Chat Closed.

I think my issue could be resolved if only my licence was disconnected from the student email account it was originally registered to. I no longer have access to that student email, so I cannot receive the Forgot Password emails for logging into that Adobe Account and trying to deactivate the licence myself so I can reactivate on a new account.

So I guess my question is how do you even get into contact with Adobe Customer service reps for account issues? I don't see options for it anywhere. I already paid over a thousand dollars for this CS6 software while in school and do not want to upgrade to CC on my personal laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried phoning customer support during normal business hours M-F?
