How to do a clean install?

I was told I need to do a clean install of my Abobe products (CS5.5) as using migration assistant (as I did) can cause problems (I crash all the time in InDesign and Photoshop).

I have an uninstall program in my InDesign folder; I just want to make sure I don't miss any important steps before proceeding. Also, since I downloaded the software, how do I reinstall?

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then simply reinstall. Downloads here:

What I have in my Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder is "Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium" which opens up to an application manager that gives options to uninstall each/all of the CS applications. No file specifically called "Creative Suite Cleaner Tool," as Adobe mentions in its support. Can I just use this uninstall application that I already have, or am I better off downloading the Cleaner Tool?

Also, is it recommended that I reinstall all, or can I leave programs like Acrobat?
