How to get the Authorization Code for Photoshop CS

I uninstall Photoshop CS from old computer(Windows XP).  Now install Photoshop CS to new computer(Windows 7) input serial number to activate can not get the Authorization Code.

Hi Ned,

I have a really old version of Photoshop, 6.0.  My computer died a few months back and I'm now using a Dell Laptop, Windows 7.  I'm trying to re-install the CS upgrade I own but it's asking me for an Adobe authorization number.  I've called the phone numbers it directed me to call but they are out of service.  I chatted with one of your tech's who told me to go here to find out about getting the auth #.  Can you help me?  My Serial number is REMOVED

Photoshop 6.0 is no longer supported by Adobe.

You might want to try the trial version of Photoshop Elements and see if it will suit your needs.

I can beat the price by using my CS2 which meets all my needs but can't get an authorization code to reinstall it!
