How to tell is my school computer is licensed for After Effects?

Hello!

I'm a student at a school with 1 to 1 laptops, all of which are loaded with several Adobe apps (Bridge, Indesign, Illustrator, Media-encoder, and Photoshop). Sadly, they don't have after effects, which I think would be helpful for a project. I'm assuming my school must be on a k-12 school plan. I'd like to figure out if they included After Effects in their plan, or if they chose to leave it out (Is that even possible? Or does the $25/seat expense cover all desktop apps?). So how do I do that? Should I be contacting our IT department, or is there a student login somewhere that tells me what my computer is licensed for?

Thanks a bunch! Let me know if you need some clarification.

You will need to contact your school's IT department. They should be able to help you out with that question.

I do IT at a university and know that we can package things differently, so students do not have access to all of the programs through the university license. Good luck!

You need to ask someone at your school... nobody here in a public forum is going to know what your school bought

Should I be contacting our IT department,

Yes. Find out who at your school deals with Adobe software and licensing.
