I have been saving all my work on my computer. I would like to move it all over to the Adobe cloud. My computer is filling up. How would I do that, step by step?

Creative Cloud storage is NOT a substitute for hard disk space.  You need a bigger computer or an external hard drive to which you can save files.  Optional Creative Cloud storage is synced to your hard drive.  And if/when your computer dies, you had better have backups on a dedicated cloud storage system like Backblaze or Dropbox just in case.   See the help article below for info on CC storage.

>and/or a local hard drive

I buy 'bare' drives and use an external docking station for copies

A possibility is this USB3 dock with fan to swap drives http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-SuperSpeed-Docking-Station-Cooling/dp/B0055PL2YI or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147511

Please consider carefully about backups for all your work. Moving to the cloud does NOT mean you do not need to backup. That really means you still need to keep a copy on your computer and/or a local hard drive.

What is the advantage if having cloud storage if you also must have mirrored storage on your local machine?

CC storage is good for syncing files, preferences and workspaces to other devices and sharing files with collaborators.

Community Help is actually for help with using the Adobe user-to-user community forums. Let's try moving this to Get Started and see if someone there can help. I don't use the cloud storage from Adobe so I'm not going to try to give instructions.
