How to uninstall InDesign?

New Here ,
May 04, 2017 May 04, 2017

I have the following situation: I would like to uninstall the trial version of InDesign, but when I try to do it the usual way (through Windows Control Panel) or using  CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems, the Creative Cloud window opens straightaway and starts to to download some updates by itself. And then the downloading stops at 8% saying that error 201 occured. And all this doesn't allow me to uninstall the program.

Some tips, please! What can be done?

Vnuka to confirm when you attempt to uninstall InDesign CC 2017 the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application opens and produces Error 201 is this correct?  Are you utilizing the process listed in Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps to remove InDesign CC 2017?

If so then it sounds like there is a pending update waiting in the Creative Cloud desktop app.  I would recommend utilizing the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility to remove your current installation of the Creative Cloud desk

If so then it sounds like there is a pending update waiting in the Creative Cloud desktop app.  I would recommend utilizing the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility to remove your current installation of the Creative Cloud desktop app.  The utility is available for download at Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.  Once removed you should then be able to successfully remove InDesign CC 2017 using the process you have previously attempted.

Vnuka please update this discussion if you have any questions or need to utilize any other Adobe Creative Cloud software titles on your Windows computer.
