how to upgrade indesign CS5 7.0.4 to 7.5.3

Yosemite on new MBP. All CS5 Adobe aps work except InDesign. I have 7.0.4. Downloaded 7.5.3 patch, but it says I'm not eligible. Help please.

you probably have to incrementally update.

Are you referring to InDesign CS 5.5 ??

then that's the last update for id cs5, and you can't update a cs5 product to cs5.5 which explains why you couldn't apply the 7.5.3 update to your cs5 program.
