I am receiving code error 1 when trying to update the Creative Cloud App

I have made multiple attempts to install update over the last 2 weeks and keep getting same error - #1.  Download freezes at 5%.

Update is to version 2.1.3.121 on Mac.  I am running OS 10.9.5

if I delete all my cc apps, will it delete all my presets?


Try CC Uninstaller once before removing all apps .

Hi Jim,

Please try the steps below:

1)    Uninstall the Adobe CC desktop app (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html)

2)    Reboot the machine.

3)    Install the latest version of Adobe creative cloud from the link: Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop

Thanks for the quick answer but it doesn't work.  When I try to run uninstaller, I get:

Couldn't uninstall Creative Cloud for desktop. You still have Creative Cloud applications installed on your computer that require it.

then uninstall all your cc programs and the desktop app

run the cleaner and restart your computer
