I bought a seagate external HD (backup plus 2TB), and it's supposed to come with some sort of offer for a free photography package. Beyond that information on the product, there's no instruction whatsoever on how to actually redeem that offer. Anybody know how I do it? To further complicate it, I already have the CC photography plan that is offered, so can I still get this offer?
Thanks,
Elana
According to the Seagate website, you redeem 2 months at product registration
Backup Plus Portable Drives: Portable & External Hard Drives | Seagate US
"1 Two-month membership to Adobe Creative Photography Plan is redeemable during product registration."
Given that Photography Plans are only available as annual plans, that's 10 months to pay for someone who only wants the freebie out of curiosity.

When I registered the product, I didn't see anywhere anything about this.
Can anyone tell me how to actually contact Adobe about this?

I suggest contacting Seagate. It's their offer. They should be able to tell you how to redeem it when registering your new hard drive on their website.

Hi Elana
I agree with John. The offer is from Seagate not Adobe and they are the only ones who can help you.
If you continue the Photography plan, an annual subscription is $9.99 a month. Be sure to cancel if you don’t plan to continue.

John, the offer is also aplicable to trial plans, where instead of 30 free days you will get the total 90 days of unleashed lightrooming, not bad at all

A Creative Cloud free trial is 7 days, not 30 days.
After 7 day trial, it reverts to a paid plan unless the user cancels within the 14 day grace period. Beyond that, a cancellation before the 12th month incurs a 50% penalty fee for remaining months of service. See Terms below.

Sorry for causing any confusion. I remember getting a 30 days free trial myself like three years ago. It was CC cloud for Photographers, but many things have changed since, obviously

Yes, the 30 days trial is long gone...

A couple of months ago I've bought a Seagate disk with two months of Lightroom promo and it had activated OK. But now I've bought two additional disks, registered them, received the activation link, and now the activation code is rejected saying that it has already been used up. But I'm sure the disks came new, unused, unopened and from a reputable store, so nobody could register for the action with my serial number.

I wouldn't be surprised if Seagate is limiting redemptions to one per customer.
Contact Seagate.

It is not. I have bought about 5 Seagate Harddrives and I can redeem the offer everytime. I already have an Adobe account and the months I have the offer I don't may the monthly fee. But today, for the first time I bought a disk that, when I register for Adobe Photoshoo, it sends me an error message. I am calling Seagate tomorrow to se if they can fix it. If not I am sending the HD back. I will report my findings.

use a browser that allows popups and cookies and contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com....
p.p.s you can also use phone (but chat is usually quicker), https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
p.p.p.s. you can also use twitter to tweet @AdobeCare.
