I purchased the adobe creative cloud suite and i'm trying to install Creative Cloud, but it just won't do it. It says that i'm disconected from the server. It's error 206. I've tried to change wifi connection, deactivated the microsoft antivirus and the firewall, checked the firewall to see if adobe servers are blocked, no they aren't, and still nothing. Does anybody know what to do?

0. follow all the steps on these pages to delete certificates and credentials: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/adobe-license-issues-keychain-credential-mgr.html . I

  1. Close all Adobe related processes in Task Manager (Core sync, services for adobe desktop app, adobe desktop service, Adobe IPC broker, AAM updater)
  2. Rename SLstore to SLstore.old at following location C:\ProgramData\Adobe
  3. Rename SLcache to SLcache.old and OOBE to OOBE.old at following location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
  4. Rename OOBE to OOBE.old at following location C:\Users\yschi\AppData\Local\Adobe
  5. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open hosts file using Notepad. If you see any Adobe entry there please replace that hosts file with a new hosts file which does not have any Adobe entry. If there is no Adobe entry leave the hosts file as it is.
  6. Download the alternative direct installer from to get the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
