I've downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro trial twice to see if the second time would work since the first didn't seem to. When I downloaded it twice, it says I was downloading the Adobe Premiere Pro family package and after downloading it, it said that the program was ready for use. I went to my start menu and search the program and all I got was the adobe premiere pro cs6 files and the picture of the purple cd and the set up and etc. Can someone please help me?
PS: I had downloaded it from the adobe website not from adobe creative cloud.

Sounds like you still need to install it. Double click on the "purple disk" (disk image), then double click the install icon. Tell us if that works.

I would agree with Kevin that you still need to run the installer. What is the filename and extension of the file you are double clicking on? Also which operating system are you using?

I am sorry Soon-yi<3 are you now saying that Premiere Pro is now listed under your Start menu? If not then can you please locate the file you downloaded and post the file name as well as the extension located after the period in the file name.

Its ok ^.^
Premiere is not listed under my start menu at all. You know when you need to uninstall a program, that's where premiere is listed.
Uh when I seach for it in my start menu it just gives me Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 in which has adobe cs6 and pr_disc_icons.ico then deploy, packages, payloads, resources and set-up.exe
There is no extension located after the period of the file name. it just says date modified and where i downloaded it in which i seem to have put it in the adobe illustrator cs6 and on the desktop if that helps

I see Soon-yi<3. Please remove Premiere Pro using the uninstaller located in the Programs & Features control panels. Once removed then please run the Set-up.exe which you referenced earlier.

The install summary does not provide enough details to fully view the error message. Please see Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html for information on how to locate the full installation log.

I was about to uninstall the program and now reinstalling it which now I gotta wait another 4 hours.
I appreciate all the help and if the program does that again I will surely use that support chat room.
Thanks to both of you so much!
