I cannot find my serial number for Photoshop Elements version 8. It came with an HP computer that I bought in 2010. I recently had to do a recovery so it was uninstalled. I moved since then and don't know how the get the serial number.

James, if it came with the machine and you have not registered it, then you can only get it from the reseller from where you have purchased the machine. PSE 8 is now end of life and we have limited resources for the same, make sure you check the System requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements‌ if you are trying to install it on a new machine.

If you wish to upgrade to latest version you can check: Picture editor, edit pictures | Adobe Photoshop Elements 13
