Hello. I can not install Adobe Creative Suite CS2 previously downloaded from the Adobe website (3 disks). The entire installation is successful, but the destination folder after installation is empty. Operating system Windows 8.1, 32-bit. Any suggestions?
Dear Jeff. Thank you very much for the help that you have even got interested in my case, despite the fact that this software is really very old. I came back to Windows 7, the whole package works great. I would like to thank all those who participated in this topic. I wanted to raise one more thing. A person with a forum login: Adobe Sarah Horowitz tried to get my phone number and login skype from me. I thought it was someone from Adobe support and gave my login. A strange person connected to me

Hi Grz2609,
As you have mentioned you are unable to install Adobe CS2.
Please confirm if you have download the special installers given here: Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products , to download and install the product?
If not then I would recommend giving it a try and share the results.

I tried to install this manual, unfortunately I still can not install this application. I have the original Adobe Creative Suite 2 in the Polish language version, but unfortunately I can not use it because the activation window still pops up, and as you know the server has been turned off. I tried to install the version made available by Adobe, but to no avail. I am sorry because there is no way to activate or use it. My package is useless.

Hi there,
Adobe has disabled the activation server for CS2 products, including Acrobat 7, because of a technical issue. These products were released more than seven years ago and do not run on many modern operating systems; Adobe no longer supports them.
Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software.

Grz2609 to confirm are you installing the new installation files for Creative Suite 2 at Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products ? In message #2 you stated you did but then in message #4 you indicated you were installing in the Polish language.
I am very sorry but the Polish installation files are not available for download at Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products . Please choose from one of the available languages and utilize the new serial number provided.

Fine. I will try again to install with Admin Permisions. Interestingly, when I download the applications, from the Adobe website that is part of Creative Suite 2: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, GoLive and Acrobat 7 Professional can install them and work correctly. Dear Jeff A Wright, yes I confirm that i install from that place, in message #4 i write that I have my original box Adobe Creative Suite 2 Polish Version

Grz2609, if you have already registered the Polish version of Creative Suite 2 on http://www.adobe.com/ then you will no longer have any need for the Polish installation files or serial number. You can find information on if the serial number is registered or not at Find your serial number .
Grz2609, what language did you choose to download and install Creative Suite 2 in?

Ok, thanks for the confirmation, Grz2609. It appears you are installing the correct installation files in the English language.
John provided some suggestions, in message #6, which may allow for Creative Suite 2 on the Windows 8.1 32-bit operating system, Grz2609. If you continue to face errors then can you post a screenshot of the specific error you are facing? Information on how to post a screenshot can be found at FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video? , Grz2609 .

It does not receive any errors during installation. The installation itself is too short, just a few seconds. The installer does not copy files nor creates a target folder in Program Files. I also tried to install to a different folder and another partition, to no avail. I attach a video file. Then I tried on another computer with Windows 7 and everything was fine.

Ok, I am sorry Grz2609, but we did not start including installation logs until Creative Suite 3. Creative Suite 2 was never designed to work under Windows 8.1 so you may just not be able to install on such a modern operating system.
You may want to consider backing up any necessary files, formatting the hard drive, and reinstalling Windows 8.1, to give you the best possibilities to install Creative Suite 2 on Windows 8.1

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in newer Windows
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... this says Encore, but is sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account) so follow the instructions for your specific program
