When I try to install the CC desktop I get a message:
'Adobe Creative Cloud , required to solve this problem on is damaged or missing . Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud again through ' http://adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp '
Redo the CreativeCloudSet -up does not help. removing the app with the Creative Cloud Uninstaller gives no result. I also tried to remove all of the Adobe files with the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
I had a working CC but had a crash caused by a virus . Many files , including those of CC have been removed.
What is the problem?

I have a similar problem. Tried to install CC LR on a Win 10 Laptop, got to 42%, uninstalled, used the CC Cleaner, rebooted (all done several times as per the troubleshooting instructions). Now the setup will not start at all.
I installed on my Win 10 desktop, no problem.

I downloaded the CC uninstaller, ran it, restarted the machine. The installer is now running.

all this BS would not be needed when adobe would provide proper offline installer for their apps. 😞
getting the adobe apps on a system is for many people a nightmare already.
not to mention adobe is unable to create a stable and robust update process.
it speaks volume that the error code list for adobe installers is 3 pages long.
