i cant seem to go past the point where ive downloaded the cc, i can see the program on my downloaded list, but when i click the .exe file nothing happens, ive tried running the installation as the administrator and it still doesnt work..please can you assist..thanks
We can try providing full permissions to Adobe folders under :
C : Program Files(x86) > Common Files > Adobe.
1) Right click on Adobe folder and select properties option.
Then uncheck read only option and Click on Apply.
2) Then click on Security tab.
Then click on Edit button .
3) Then click on User account named :
Administrator, System, Currently logged in user account name . Trusted installer.
Provide Full control all 4 users .
You need to select user account name and then tick the box next to Full

Right click on the Creative Cloud setup.exe file and select Properties.
In the right bottom corner , if you can see " Unblock " button .,
Click on it and then click Apply and OK .
Then try to install again .

hi, thanks, ive tried this, but now window 7 says the following message " Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You many not have the appropriate permission to access the item"

Please move the Creative Cloud setup file from Download folder to C: drive,
Make sure it is inside C:drive ,
Then try to install and check.

After moving to C:drive , did right click on Creative Cloud setup file and selected Run as Administrator option ?
If yes , try with below steps and check.
1)
Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
2)
Click on the below link and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same.
http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cc/win/ApplicationManager9.0_all.exe
Once the installation process is completed, locate Adobe Application Manager launch icon on Desktop and double click on it and update and check.

for some reason at this location :

hi, ive open the adobe application manager 9.0...and locate the setup...when i click it, its giving me that same error message.

May I know whether you had logged in as Administrator?
Also let me know the version of Windows Operating system.
Are you using personal computer to Office/ Corporate network computer ?

After providing full control to all user , click on Apply and then click ok.
If you get any error , select ignore all and ignore.
Follow the same process for Adobe folder under C: > Program Files<x86) >Adobe.
Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily.
Then try to install using Creative Cloud setup file and check.

Create new Administrator account and try to install .

Then restart and login to new Admin account and try to install Creative Cloud application and check.
