I get the following error message

The error message I get, preventing my download to Mac OS Lion: "You are running an operating system that Illustrator no longer supports.  Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms."  I don't pretend to be a "techie"!  What do I do now???

Hi,

If you are trying to Install the latest version of Illustrator which is CC 2015 then it will not work see, System requirements | Illustrator

However you can install the Illustrator CC 2014 version on machine and use, please refer to the below link:

*** You'll first have to download Creative Cloud desktop app from here, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial

Then follow the steps shown in this link to download CC 2014 version of Illustrator , Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps

Hello Bani, and thank you much for taking the time to write me about my problem!! 

I have already downloaded Creative Cloud, so I need to know how to change things.  I was told I could upgrade my computer (so that it will work with CC2015) with a simple click somewhere?  Are you familiar with this?
