I have lightroom disk and received the activation code but nothing happens when disk finish downloading to my Mac. Nowhere to write down activation code, no opening of the program at all. Note, presently I have elements installed

Did you tried launching the Lightroom app from Applications folder?

Also check whether Adobe Application Manager folder is listed under Utilities ?
