I just installed CS6 Master Collection and I am not Seeing the Acrobat application.
I resolved the issue and installed Acrobat this morning. The issue turned out to be, as I suspected, that Adobe Reader had already been installed on the machine and, for some reason, this prevents installation of Acrobat.
Thanks for your help on this one.

Which operating system are you using? Did you customize the installation at all?

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise on a brand new 64 bit operating system computer.
I installed all available applications on the install disc (the default installation profile).

If you go to Start>Control Panels>Programs and Features are you able to select Acrobat to be added under Master Collection CS6?

Acrobat does not show up under Programs and Features. I do see Adobe Reader X. I seem to recall that when we installed CS5.5, there was some issue with Acrobat not installing if Reader was already in place?

There shouldn't be. Acrobat won't have a separate entry as it is installed as part of Master Collection CS6. You will want to select that option from the Programs and Features control panel.

When I select that, I am given the option to uninstall any of the Master Collection Applications, but Acrobat is not in that list:

Very odd what if you invoke the installer from the installation media. Are you able to select the option to install Acrobat then?

Ok when I run the installer again, Acrobat X and Flash Builder come up as apps that can be installed. Everything else is not checked (as they are already installed I presume). I'm not sure why these two apps did not install in the first place, but I will run the install and see if I can get them to take this time.
Flash Builder installed, but Acrobat did not. I got the following error message:
I also received the following error summary:

Interesting they are suppose to be able to coexisit now even on Windows operating systems. Thank you for the update Walton55!

I have subsequently re-installed Reader, so they can coexist, but it seems to matter which order they are installed in.

With Acrobat 9 it would actually remove Adobe Reader if it was installed. Do you have a particular need for Adobe Reader? All of the functionality of Adobe Reader should be available in Acrobat 10 Professional.

We like to be able to test PDF forms in Reader so that we can verify what the end user is seeing.

We need system specs and more info. Chances are your system does not meet the requirements or an older version of Acrobat is on teh system and gets in the way...
