I'm getting an error 131:4 in trying to setup a reinstall of Adobe Acrobat X Standard. How can I fix this problem?

Adobe Acrobat X Standard was no updating on my computer and the software suggested that I uninstall and reinstall the product. I uninstalled and then attempted to reinstall. Now I can't use the program at all. I get the "Error: 131:4" (A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch the product. ..." If that doesn't work, I'm supposed to contact Customer Support (which doesn't provide support for this product.

Suggestions on how to fix the problem?
