I own LR 6.0 and cannot update to 6.1.1. Why?

I own Lightroom 6.0 and have looked for updates for some time using the Help> Updates—nothing for LR ever came up. Today, I found out that there was a 6.1.1 patch, so downloaded it from Adobe directly and tried to install that. I got a message saying that the "Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M2P28". So, what the heck does that mean and how can I install this update?

Thanks for answering, but this has done nothing. I clicked your link, downloaded Adobe Drive 2.0, installed it, then opened Lightroom, went to Help> Updates and was told that all updates were current.

I notice that the ink that you provided says it's for CS5. Since I'm using LR 6.0, would that make a difference?

Hi mcclynn,

Thanks for the response.

Well that doesn't make any difference as that is for licensing so that is related to a common database.

And as you said that it is still not fixed so I am transferring this thread to : Downloading, Installing, Setting Up
