I simply can not find a way to upgrade from my current version of Lightroom 5 to LR6!?

Everything I try just keeps taking me to the CC version or a dead end or the link will not work.  It can't be that difficult can it??

If you purchased  a previous version of lightroom as a perpetual product rather than the creative cloud and you want to purchase an upgrade to Lightroom 6. See this link:  Products .  Scroll down to lightroom and click "buy". Click on the selectable text by " I want to: "and select "upgrade". Then select the version you are upgrading from in the pulldown.

As Ned stated, if you already installed the trial for Lightroom CC , you can serialize it to activate it as Lightroom 6.
