Illustrator 8.0.1

I am unable to execute Illustrator 8.0.1 setup on a new windows 8 computer (64-bit), was no problem to have it run under Vista on my old pc. I have tried several "windows suggested" compatibility changes. Thanks for ideas, gerhard

Hi Gerhard78 ,

The reason is because Adobe Illustrator is a pretty old version and is not compatible with Windows 8.1. The current version of Illustrator is 18 (CC-2014) and is compatible with the latest version of Windows.
