Hi unanimouscreative,

Please go to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers and uninstall the software. Run the cleaner tool to remove any leftover ruminants: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .

Enable root account: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11331 and try installing from root.

If still the same issue then please follow the Kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/exit-code-15-installing-ccm.html for Exit code 15.

Regards,

Romit Sinha

Have you tried an alternate Internet connection?  For example if you are using a wireless connection then try a wired connection.  If you are already on a wired connection try an alternate source for Internet.

I am having the same issue. Early 2012 iMac, 3.4GHz i7 with 32gb of RAM, running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4.

The Illustrator CC downloads successfully, but fails when it starts to extract the disk image. I located the disk image and tried to install from there, but I get the same result. The "error summary" leads me to a local web page with this info:

Exit Code: 15 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:  -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 0 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently I am not able to install or use Illustrator CC at all, so I am using Illustrator CS6 in the meantime.

I enabled the root user and ran the cleanup utility, then tried to install Illustrator CC from the disk image, but it still failed. The installer goes from 0% to 2% and then fails, and gives me the same error as shown above. This is frustrating. Illustrator CC installed successfully on my early 2011 MacBook Pro, but won't install on my 2012 iMac.

I completely uninstalled all CS6 & CC applications, including Creative Cloud desktop, ran the cleaner, and deleted all traces of any Adobe application. Restarted, then re-downloaded Creative Cloud. Was able to successfully install Illustrator CC from the disk image, so now I'm re-downloading and reinstalling all my CC apps. This was a huge pain, and cost me a lot of time I would have rather spent working on billable projects.
