Illustrator CS6 says "Installation Failed" while trying to install

I've tried multiple times now and it keeps saying "Installation Failed". Specifically it's producing an Error (-60).

Fireworks CS6 and Photoshop CS6 have both installed properly.

Can you please do the following so that we can trace the issue.

1. Restart the machine and try again.

2. If 1st step doesn't work, put a file named "asu.trace' at the following location:

On windows : %temp% folder

On mac: ~/Library/Logs

2.1 Run Adobe Application Manager and if error comes, please share the logs present at :

On windows: %temp%/AdobeDownload/DLM.log

On mac: ~/Library/Logs/AdobeDownload/DLM.log

I am having similar problems - had to download trials but Acrobat refuses to activate so have had to try again to get this to work.

I have removed all adobe apps and ran the cleaner app, restarted etc and are still getting errors when trying to install from Application Manager.

The log as mentioned above says:

@matt, if you had installed the pre-release version of Illustrator CS6 or a trial version of CS6 earlier, it is recommended that you run the Adobe Cleaner Tool.

Please visit : http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html?promoid=GYTAU and download the appropriate tool depending on your machine's Operating System.

Make sure you've quit and uninstalled all Adobe CS6 applications before running this utility.

Try to install all the CS6 applications including Illustrator again and let us know if that helps.
