I signed up for a free trial of InDesign. Once my card details had been noted, I was able to download the progra,. When I click on the download, Windows asks me if I want to proceed, and then I am sent to a small install page. This tells me to click on a button to sign in. The page this opens  tells me I'm already signed in, and to close its tab and return to what I was doing. I close the tab, but the original install page has gone. I have tried this five times and the install page never comes back. It's a seven-day trial, I need to open some ancient Pagemaker files, and delay is not helpful.

I can't speak to your install issues, but... If you are looking to convert Pagemaker files, the current version of InDesign no longer does that anyway. The last version to do that was CS6. One used to be able to download and install that version as part of one's CC Subscription, but they have removed that version. If you have only a few PM files to convert, there are some people in this forum (myself included) that are able to do that for you. There are also a few people around that have old trial installers that they may be able to be of use. What is your desired end result of this; pdfs? the ability to work on them in the future in InDesign? or...?
